How to Clean a Trash Compactor 

1.      The best way to clean a trash compactor is to unplug it from the power source.

2.      Next, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe the inside and outside of the unit. 

3.      If there is any food or debris build-up, use a mild detergent to remove it. 

4.      Finally, rinse the compactor with clean water and dry it off before plugging it back in.
